GxGutHealth is snapshot of your gut microbiome that provides valuable insight into several health factors. These health factors include overall gut score, alpha diversity (both in richness and evenness of bacteria) and various functional health scores. A GxGutHealth collection kit will be shipped to you when order is placed. Kit will include detail instructions, fecal collection vial and a bag for prepaid return shipping to our CLIA and CAP certified lab partner partner.
Our lab partner analyzes a small fecal sample and the provides the information to convert taxonomic signatures (16S) and gene lists (WGS) into microbiome-wide quantitative functional capabilities (phenotypes). A quantitative measure of each phenotype in a microbiome sample is computed on a scale from 0 to 100%.
Recommendations for how to balance your gut microbiome will include a custom precision supplement that is tailored for your gut profile. This precision supplement is a powder to mix with water and take daily. Specific food to avoid and include in your diet will be included. The results will be provided in PDF form as well as online in the Client Portal.
This test can be repeated after a period of time (recommend minimum 60 days) to evaluate the effectiveness of the precision supplement formula and determine if it needs to be adjusted.
