Linda Hodnett Mayfield, R.Ph., B.C.P.S. Pharmacotherapy Advisor
Ms. Linda Hodnett Mayfield is a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) in the states of Texas and New York, and a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS). She was recently appointed an Adjunct Professor at the University of North Texas Health Sciences Center, and has more than 14 years of experience in clinical and retail environments, and multiple certifications.
Ms. Mayfield has spent the last six years as a Staff Pharmacist, and is currently an Internal Medicine Clinical Pharmacist at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. Her focus is on pharmacokinetic monitoring and management, anticoagulation monitoring, supervising technicians and verifying accuracy of medications prior to distribution, performing patient profile review and verifying appropriateness of medication orders and inpatient medication education. She has also developed a 40 hour ACPE Accredited Course on Sterile IV Preparation for the hospital. Ms. Mayfield is a course instructor for RxProstaff, Inc., teaching a Sterile IV Compounding course to pharmacists and has been responsible for investigational drug trials for Protenium Clinical Research, where she served as the un-blinded coordinator in double blind studies.
Ms. Mayfield has her Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from SUNY Buffalo in Buffalo, New York.
